Although it may not be as strong as casted iron, still, aluminum has proven itself to be useful for an efficient number of years. It’s low cost and the durability of aluminum has most manufacturers sold on die casting aluminum.
If the casting process to be used is die casting, aluminum is one of the most common metals recommended in the process. This is because the high cost of equipment matches the lower cost of aluminum and with the capabilities of die cast and aluminum’s features – the results end in a pretty high quality product. Die casting can create complex shapes and aluminum can resist corrosion, is durable, rust resistant, lightweight, weather resistant and can handle both cold and hot weathers without needing as much maintenance as other metals may need.
